Currently, we are looking for someone willing to join the staff as a designer. Both Sierra and myself don’t know all that much about scripting and such, so we are looking for someone willing to help us build a community with its own signature look. Interested? Please contact Minerva McGonagall.

House Points

The hourglasses are a dead giveaway but we feel like we need to explain the need for them anyway. Like in the books students have the opportunity to earn points for their respective house. Teachers give these points during lessons, events and any other situation during which you’ll interact with one of the staff. Having the chance to earn points also means that you may lose them when doing things that are not quite following the rules. So when sneaking around the Dark Forest or being out of bed after curfew could get precarious. When caught by one of the Professors one might not only get detention but house points might get deducted on the way.

Teachers may give up to six points and deduct the same. All points are given (and taken) in IC situations, to keep things as realistic as possible. So some teachers are stricter than others and may give you less points than some would. Complaining won’t help, since there are no rules to taking (or giving) points, just that the max limit per student is six points.

To keep the house rivalry alive, points given are added into the hourglasses. Professor Hawthorne or myself will do so at any given time so that the points will be up to date. At the end of the school year an award will be given to the Head of the House who has earned the most points. This trophy will be placed in our trophy room.

Good luck to all!

Okay, so we’ve mentioned earlier that students can earn House points by attending classes and doing other things involving a teacher. To broaden this a bit, we’ve decided that we needed to add a few options so that people can earn points out of character as well.

You get two points when someone becomes a member through you. To do that, post that person’s name here please When getting sorted into a House, you recieve 1 point as a gift and for you efforts making an app.

And we give out points for people posting our advertisement on other RPG’s, do check if someone hasn’t posted it already. For this you get one point per add posted. Click here for more information on the matter ;)
